Gecko brothers fighting in synch

“”
On a side note, though, I’m really pleased with the ease of interaction between Kurt and Blaine that we’ve finally gotten to now that they’re in New York. Ryan Murphy used to talk a big game about how when he had a gay relationship on the show it wasn’t going to be a Big Deal. And then every time Kurt and Blaine so much as touched each other it was a Very Special Episode with five hundred warnings and an upped rating. But now we have casual “I love yous” and quick kisses and they are actually allowed to interact like a normal couple, and their scenes are stronger for it. Dear Fox – physical and verbal affection are only a big deal when you make them a big deal. Look, two boys kissed on TV and nothing caught on fire. Except maybe Tumblr, but that’s going to happen regardless

But can we just talk about this scene? We know that Dean has a reputation for being one of the most feared and greatest hunters out there. Word gets around, and fellow hunters know it. Dean may only have met Roy and Walt once or twice in his lifetime, yet both hunters are still aware of the dedication he has to protecting his brother. They know Dean can’t live without Sam, not only because he’ll go out of his way trying to bring his brother back, but because he’ll spend a lifetime tracking the culprits down. That’s why Walt’s line is so significant. “You wanna spend the rest of your life knowing Dean Winchester’s on your ass?” Not just a week, a month or a year. He knows that leaving Dean alive would lead him to a lifetime on the run, and if that isn’t a perfect representation of Dean’s loyalty and co-dependence on his brother, I don’t know what is.
